Omega Esports rode the exploits of prized jungler Dean Christian “Raizen” Sumagui to score back-to-back wins with a 2-1 conquest of Nexplay Evos in Week 3 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 on Saturday.

The MPL sophomore responded to the call of Coach Pakbet with masterful performances in Game 1 and 3 of the series, finishing with a combined 14-1-6 KDA that erased all the doubts.

Raizen (Ling) stepped on the gas from the get go in Game 1, spearheading Omega to a 4-0 kill spread and 3k gold lead by the 6th minute with a 2-0-2 KDA

NXPE came roaring back in the 9th minute with a 3-1 trade off but Omega responded with a 5-0 wipeout in the 14th to take the opener, 1-0.

The Dogie-led squad is not to be outdone though as they reversed the roles in Game 2 with superb early game play, taking a 6-1 kill lead by the 5th minute that they extended into a 10-2 spread by the 7th with a 7k gold lead.

A luminous lord take in the 13th minute followed by a crucial 2-0 pick off in the 14th minute forced the decider, 1-1.

But Raizen (Aulus) took over in Game 3, taking a 4-0-1 KDA by the 6th minute as Omega took control from the onset.

He then secured the luminous lord in a 13th minute lord fight to take down all NXPE inhibitor turrets. It was all Omega from there.

Omega upped their points total to four with a 2-3 win-loss card while NXPE fell to a 3-2 card with 9pts.
