Demetrious Johnson demonstrates slick striking in open workout
SINGAPORE—Former UFC flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson demonstrated that his Muay Thai cannot be taken lightly in an open workout.
Johnson, touted by some as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time, is scheduled to face ONE flyweight Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a special rules match at ONE: X on Saturday, March 26 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
His upcoming cage appearance is a fight like no other where rounds 1 and 2 will be fought with Muay Thai rules while rounds 2 and 4 in mixed martial arts.
Fans, scribes, and experts alike predict that Johnson will either get knocked out by the hard hitting Rodtang or win via submission.
Regardless of popular opinion, Johnson showcased that he cannot be overlooked when he showcased that he too has elite striking by demonstrating his trademark speed and crafty combinations in front of a crowd at OCBC Square in Singapore.
