Team Philippines finds its groove for dancesport medal rush in Hanoi

The Philippines found its groove in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam as dancesport collected six medals on Sunday.

Stephanie Sabalo and Michael Angelo Marquez won the gold for cha-cha, on top of getting a silver for jive and all the five events.

Wilbert Aunzo and Pearl Marie Cañeda, meanwhile, copped a silver in samba and bronze from rumba and paso doble.

Dancesport made its return to the biennial meet in the 2019 edition of the games, which was held in the Philippines.
