Pinoy jins cop gold, two silvers in Vietnam SEA Games

This as Jocel Lyn Ninobla took the gold medal in the women's individual recognized poomsae of the taekwondo competition in the 31st Southeast Asian Games on Monday at the Tay Ho Gymnasium in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Ninobla tallied 7.765 points to sit atop the tournament while Vietnam's Tran Kim uyen Lee settled for silver with a final score of 7.649. Taking home the bronze medal were Thailand's Ornawee Srisahakit and Indonesia's Defia Rosmaniar.
Meanwhile, the team composed of Rodolfo Reyes Jr., Raphael Enrico Mella, and Patrick King Perez grabbed the silver medal in the men's recognized poomsae team event behind gold medalist Vietnam.

The quintet of Janna Oliva, Juvenile Crisostomo, Justin Kobe Macario, Darius Venerable, and Jeordan Dominguez clinched the silver medal as well in the taekwondo mixed freestyle poomsae competition.
