Kairi leaves Onic Philippines, fuels rumored move to Indonesia

Onic Philippines just announced the departure of Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol from the team on Sunday.

In their Facebook post, Onic thanked the star jungler during his three-season stay after transferring from Blacklist International where he started his MLBB professional career.

"It's been quite a run, but all good things must come to an end. Thank you, Kairi. For taking on this adventure with us. We will miss this heartthrob—our bunso, aka the Future," Onic said.

"Undeniably one of the world's best junglers, we have no doubt you'd rise even higher."

Kairi is considered as one of the best junglers in the Philippines and the world after helping the team finish runner-up in both the MPL Philippines Season 8 and the M3 World Championship.

His departure is the the latest development in the recent exodus of members of the three-time MPL Philippines runner-up after the team also announced the departures of Head Coach Denver "Yeb" Miranda and reserve roamer Mico "Micophobia" Quitlong.

During the MLBB Southeast Asian Cup 2022, Coach Yeb was seen with the coaching staff of Indonesia's Onic Esports and was also featured in the team's vlog.

Multiple sources told GMA News Online about Coach Yeb's move to Indonesia together with Kairi.

In a vlog released by Blacklist International Head Coach Bonn "Bonn Chan" Ricaplaza, the champion coach also revealed that Coach Yeb moved overseas with a "superstar player from Onic," fueling rumors about Kairi's move as well.

In recent livestreams, Kairi was seen sitting in a game room that looks exactly the same as Onic Esports' bootcamp.

Exp laner Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera is also rumored to have accepted an offer from Indonesia while Micophobia is rumored to have moved to Nexplay Evos.
