Lyceum continues surge, remains unbeaten in CCE Season 1

Heavy-favorite Lyceum of the Philippines University refused to slow down as it kept its unbeaten slate intact in Season 1 of the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) after collecting three more victories in the second week.

After wiping out its first three matches against Mapua, Arellano, and CSB in the opening week, Lyceum now pulled off wins over San Sebastian, EAC, and San Beda University for an immaculate 6-0 card.

Behind its spotless record, Lyceum's biggest win so far was the one against the Stags, who prior to the game were also unbeaten, as they finished the match in 23 minutes.

Jungler Mark Kenneth “Mark” Delos Reyes once again carried the torch for Lyceum, unleashing 12 kills and 16 assists against four deaths in duel against San Sebastian. He also captured the MVP honors in all three games.

Meanwhile, vengeful San Sebastian vented its ire on Arellano and College of St. Benilde to stay behind Lyceum with a 5-1 record.

CSB, San Beda, EAC, Mapua, and Letran followed suit with identical 3-3 cards for a logjam in the middle of the standings with Arellano (2-4) and Jose Rizal U (2-4) and winless University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (0-6) at the bottom so far.
