Indonesia's RRQ Hoshi announces signing of Filipino coach Arcadia

Four-time MPL Indonesia champions RRQ Hoshi officially announced the addition of former ECHO head coach Michael “Arcadia” Bocado through a teaser video uploaded on the team's YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Arcadia joins the exodus of Filipino coaches and players led by former Onic PH Head Denver "Yeb" Miranda who moved to Indonesia's ONIC Esports together with star jungler Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol.

The development is only the latest update in the massive movement of players and coaches out of the Philippines to neighboring ASEAN countries.

Joining Arcadia and Yeb as coaches overseas in the upcoming MPL season are John “Zico” Dizon (Burn X Flash - MPL Cambodia), and Theo “Raizen” Eusebio (Suhaz Esports - MPL Malaysia).

Arcadia, who spearheaded Sunsparks' championship run in Season 5, last steered ECHO to a 5th-6th place finish in the MPL PH Season 9 after succumbing to eventual runners-up Omega Esports.
