Hate makes winning debut in MPL Malaysia

Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales delivered the best start to his overseas professional playing career, leading Team SMG to a 2-1 win over RSG Malaysia in the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia on Saturday.

Hate's brilliance was on full display all-series long, listing only one death while compiling a massive 7-1-12 KDA total.

The former Onic Philippines midlaner played perfect in the opener finishing an immaculate 3-0-6 KDA as the Season 8 MPL MY champions made quick work of RSG.

Hate's 1-1-3 KDA in Game 2 though wasn't enough to propel Team SMG as RSG MY came knocking to force the rubber match.

In Game 3, Hate came roaring back with an explosive 3-0-0 KDA by the 3rd minute to help Team SMG take a 3-1 kill lead and a 3k net worth advantage.

The Filipino did not let up as his positional prowess helped his team extend their kill spread into 5-1 by the 5th minute, spearheaded by Hate's 3-0-2 KDA.

It was all Team SMG the rest of the way.
