Blacklist International trio of Edward, OHEB, Hadji glad to have V33Wise back in MPL

For the first time since conquering the M3 World Championships last December, Blacklist International is back in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) with a complete core.

The duo of  Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna and Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario has finally rejoined the Codebreakers as they opened their Season 10 campaign on Friday night against Nexplay EVOS.

With the V33Wise tandem back, the main quintet has now been completed, including the MVP trio of Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap, Salic "Hadji" Imam, and Kiel "OHEB" Soriano.

For OhMyV33NUS and Wise, making their way back to MPL after a one-season hiatus gave them a mix of emotions, especially with their bid to reclaim the crown now underway.

"Ako sakto lang, hindi ako kinabahan [kasi] more of excitement 'yung naramdaman ko," shared OhMyV33NUS, dubbed as one of the best shot callers in the game.

Wise, meanwhile, shared: "Ako, bago kami umalis ng bootcamp kinakabahan na talaga ako pero nung nandito na at nung nahawakan ko na 'yung cellphone, nawala bigla 'yung kaba tapos napalitan ng excitement."

Living up to their billing, Blacklist took care of its first assignment after pulling off a 2-1 victory over Nexplay to jumpstart its bid.

Season 7 Finals MVP Edward, M3 MVP OHEB, and Season 8 MVP Hadji were all elated about V33Wise's return.

"May mag-ga-guide na sa'min tatlong bata," said Edward.

OHEB, who took the MVP honors in Game 1 and 3 against Nexplay, shared: "Siguro gigil tsaka excitement kasi gigil kaming tatlo (Edward at Hadji) na bumawi this season dahil sa nangyari last season tsaka excited kami kasi kumpleto na ulit kami."

"Masaya kasi magkakasama na kami tapos bumawi kami," said Hadji.

Blacklist is looking to redeem itself after a tumultuous Season 9 where they missed out on a playoffs berth after having finished dead last in the eight-team field.
