Onic PH takes down defending champs RSG with dominant sweep
Onic Philippines delivered a performance to remember as they manhandled a hapless RSG Philippines squad via a dominant 2-0 win in Week 2 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 on Sunday.
With the win, Onic rose to solo second owing to a 3-1 win-loss card (8pts). RSG on the other hand, suffered from their second loss in three matches and remained a distant seventh place (3pts).
Onic targeted roamer Dylan “Light” Catipon in the Game 1 draft that forced the defending champions to opt for a Hilda pick, rendering the Season 9 MVP ineffective throughout the match.
RSG just couldn't find their groove allowing Onic to Take the opener with Frince Miguel “SUPER FRINCE” Ramirez (Xavier) leading the way via a 3-1-5 KDA.
SUPER FRINCE picked up where he left off as he spearheaded Onic's early game exploits in Game 2, taking a 5th minute 3-0-2 KDA while helping Kenneth “Nets” Barro (Beatrix) take down an outer turret as early as the 2nd minute.
Onic Philippines left no stones unturned as they completed a dominant series, not conceding any kill in Game 2 en route to a quick 11-minute conquest of the defending champions.
SUPER FRINCE delivered a masterful performance on the Selena, finishing with a 3-0-5 KDA.
