Kousei helps RSG score back-to-back wins with sweep of NXPE
RSG Philippines looked to have regained their lethal form after inserting goldlaner Clarense "Kousei" Camilo into the line-up and taking their third win of the season in a sweep of Nexplay Evos, 2-0, in Week 3 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 on Sunday.
They have now won all but one of their last four games with their only loss coming at the hands of league-leading Onic Philippines. RSG improved to 3-2 (8pts) to leapfrog into 5th in the standings while sending NXPE to the bottom two.
RSG started to take control in the opener after Kousei (Beatrix) almost single-handedly turned a 2-3 exchange into a 4-3 trade off in the 7th minute, helping him snowball with two kills scored in that sequence.
Owning to a good command of the map, the MSC 2022 champions took an uncontested enhanced lord in the 16th minute and easily unleashed the final push for the base turret to pull ahead, 1-0.
Kousei led the way with a perfect 4-0-1 KDA.
The defending champions continued their brilliance in Game 2 as they overturned a 2-2 kill deadlock in the 3rd minute into a runaway 10-2 spread by the 8th minute.
RSG conceded only one death the rest of the way, cruisinng to a dominant 20-3 kill tally and complete the sweep.
Dylan "Light" Catipon once again flashed his iconic Franco pick that led to crucial Iron Hook pick-offs to finish with an immaculate 1-0-12 KDA.
