Kairi beats Dlar, Baloyskie; Markyyyyy gets another 2-1 loss

It was a reunion of sorts on Week 3 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia as Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera repped Evos Legends against Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol's Onic Esports but the latter took the opening game after the Filipino jungler exploded with the Julian pick for an immaculate 4-0-8 KDA.

After Evos lost the opener though, Dlar was subbed out and the M1 world champions completed a reverse sweep.

Kairi bounced back two days later after Onic swept Geek Fam, which was parading Filipinos Allen "Baloyskie" Baloy and Jaymark "Janaaqt" Lazaro.

Janaaqt (3-0-7 KDA) and Kairi (5-0-0) KDA engaged in a tight duel in Game 1 until Onic scored a 4-2 tradeoff during a 20th minute lord fight to take the opener.

The MPL ID Season 8 champions then overwhelmed Baloyskie and the rest of Geek Fam in Game 2 with Kairi (Julian) leading the way courtesy of his 3-0-4 KDA.

For Marky “Markyyyyy” Capacio, it was another painful 2-1 loss as Bigetron Alpha failed to build on a superb opening game performance and succumbed to Alter Ego's aggressive game play.

Markyyy (Beatrix) scored a double kill in the 13th minute of Game 1 to cap off his 3-0-5 KDA performance.
