Bren sustains winning form, sweeps Nexplay

Coming off a rousing reverse sweep of powerhouse Omega Esports, Bren Esports easily put away Nexplay EVOS via a 2-0 sweep in Week 4 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines on Saturday.

It was Bren's third win in seven games to compile 10 points and bury NXPE to seventh spot (5 points) in the playoff rankings.

Game 1 was a nip-and-tuck affair with the NXPE taking a 7-3 kill lead but Bren relied on their macro to maintain a slim net worth lead.

The M2 world champions used a sneaky 14th minute lord take that they followed up with a 3-2 trade off in the ensuing team fight to take commanding control.

Michael Angelo "KyleTzy" Sayson (Julian) then cancelled out Mariusz "Donut" Tan's (Claude) desperation Blazing Duet with his Chain to help Bren close out the opener, 1-0.

Flaunting his iconic Chou pick, Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcase spearheaded NXPE's exploits early in Game 2, taking a 2-0-4 KDA by the 9th minute after a 3-1 clash.

But Bren needed an opening in the 14th minute as they scored a pivotal 3-0 wipe that turned the tables around.

It was all Bren from there for the sweep.
