Zico, Hesa book ticket to M4 World Championship after clinching MPL KH championship

Filipino Coach John "Zico" Dizon proved that he made the right decision in moving overseas as he, along with former Nexplay Evos gold laner Jhonwin "Hesa" Vergara, swept the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Cambodia Autumn Split 2022 by storm with a impressive playoff run, taking Burn x Flash the championship and securing their slot to the M4 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia next year.

They flirted with disaster before mounting the comeback in Game 4 to complete a 3-1 win over Logic Esports in the grandfinals while shutting down former Cambodian champions See You Soon in the semi-finals via a 3-1 reverse sweep.

Hesa played phenomenal with the Claude pick in the series as he finished with a perfect 3-0-6 KDA in Game 1 while taking a 2-2-12 KDA in Game 2 but his most important play came in Game 4 when he scored a double kill during a lengthy 15th minute team fight to lead Team Flash's 5-0 wipeout that enabled them to execute a one way push.

A few weeks prior to the MPL KH playoffs, the duo also led Team Flash to the WOWNOW & Prince Mall League (WPML) title where they also took down SYS and defending MPL KH champions Impunity KH in succeeding fashion.

Zico and Hesa were part of Nexplay Evos who finished 5th-6th in Season 9 of the MPL Philippines.
