MPL Indonesia: Baloyskie, Janaaqt lead Geek Fam ID to best season record in franchise history

Despite missing the playoffs, Filipino imports Allen "Baloyskie" Baloy and Jaymark "Janaaqt" Lazaro helped Geek Fam Indonesia finish with a franchise best 5-9 record and almost made it into the playoffs if not for a mishap in the final week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 10.

Geek Fam unleashed their "miracle" run in the second half of the season, starting with a 2-0 sweep of then-streaking Alter Ego Esports then taking down former league leaders Aura Fire and Evos legends in back-to-back fashion.

They could've qualified for the playoffs if they were able to hurdle Onic Esports in their penultimate season match.

Geek Fam actually took Game 1 over Onic and was ahead in Game 2 with the lord marching towards the enemy base turret until disaster struck and the team suffered a wipeout.

The loss eliminated them from playoff contention but they closed out the season with a rousing 2-1 victory over Rebellion.

Geek Fam won three of their last four matches and were the hottest team towards the end of the regular season.
