Figueiredo vs Moreno IV booked for UFC 283

The fourth encounter between UFC flyweight world champion Deiveson Figueiredo and UFC interim flyweight champion Brandon Moreno is set to take place on January 21 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, according to a report by ESPN .

Figueiredo (21-2) and Moreno (20-6) last saw each other inside the cage at UFC 270 last January where the former won by unanimous decision. Overall, the two hold a 1-1-1 record against each other in the UFC.

“An epic fourth fight between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno will take place in Rio early next year. Both bout agreements have been signed, sources said,” ESPN tweeted.

Figueiredo, meanwhile, has also announced the fight on his Instagram.

“Now it's official! Contract signed! UFC Rio here in my homeland Brazil. The belt holder has a name: Deiveson God of War Figueiredo,” Figueredo wrote.
