Blacklist books return to the world stage after sweep of Echo in MPL PH upper bracket finals

Blacklist International will get the chance to defend their crown in the M4 World Championship after dominating Echo, 3-0, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 upper bracket finals on Saturday.

Blacklist did not look threatened throughout the series, save for the early game of the opener, to book a return trip to the world championship in Indonesia next year.

The season top seeds opened the series with an action-packed early game but Echo scored the most telling exchanges in the 9th minute when they punished Blacklist's aggression in the top lane to score a 4-0 wipe and the first lord of the match.

Echo managed to secure the 13th minute lord but Blacklist pulled the right stops then employed diversionary tactic with Edward “Edward” Dapadap (Benedetta) in the botlane capped off by Kiel “OHEB” Soriano (Claude) with a midlane inhibitor turret push to equalize the economy.

Blacklist took the next two lords and shattered three inhibitor turrets in the 20th minute before using a 25th minute evolved lord and a 2-0 pickoff to pull ahead, 1-0.

The BON CHAN-mentored squad took Game 2 by storm with a Jungler Guinevere pick, commanding control of the match starting with a 2-0 pick off late in the 9th minute along with a lord followed by a 3-0 shutout in the 13th minute.

The Orcas though managed to hold hold but failed to find the gaps, conceding a 5-2 wipeout in the 19th minute as Blacklist reached match point, 2-0.

The Codebreakers flexed their might in Game 3, taking three unanswered kills in the 7th minute to post a 6-2 kill spread and establish a 4k net worth lead.

They did not concede any death from there using the next luminous lord to close out the series.
