Eduard Folayang to see action against Brazilian foe on December 3 in Manila

Former ONE lightweight world champion Eduard Folayang has found an opponent for ONE Championship’s return to the Philippines on December 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Folayang, touted as the face of Philippine mixed martial arts, is scheduled to face Edson Marques of Brazil in a three five-minute contest at ONE on PRIME VIDEO 5 in the morning.

The news was first reported by International Business Times and was also confirmed by a reliable source to GMA Integrated News.

Folayang, 22-12 as a professional mixed martial artist, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Muay Thai legend John Wayne Parr at ONE: X last March.

Marques, meanwhile, is 10-2 as a pro. He last saw action against Kim Kyung Rok last June which he won by way of unanimous decision.
