Blacklist falls to Falcon Esports, fails to get outright upper bracket spot in M4 World Championship

Blacklist International fell prey to Falcon Esports of Myanmar as the Philippine bets failed to secure an outright upper bracket spot in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championships on Tuesday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

With the loss, Blacklist was forced into a three-way tie in Group A with Falcon Esports and Incendio Supremacy with similar 2-1 cards and into a tiebreaker. The three teams will duke it out in another round robin to determine who will advance to the upper bracket.

Falcon Esports is coached by a Filipino mentor in Steven "Dale" Vitug, whose squad was dominant right from the get-go, wiping out the Codebreakers at the seventh minute mark before finishing off the defending champions in 16 minutes and 18 seconds with a 16-3 kill spread.

Pyae "JustiN" Sone Khant was hailed the MVP after a flawless KDA line of three kills and 12 assists against no deaths to steer the Burmese club to probably one of the biggest upsets in the tournament so far.

Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap, Salic "Hadji" Imam, and Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna accounted for the three kills of Blacklist as they will have to figure in a tiebreaker.
