Echo moves on verge of M4 upper bracket bracket with rout of Occupy Thrones
Echo moved closer to joining Blacklist International in the upper bracket after dominating Occupy Thrones, 1-0, in their group stage match in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Orcas needed just 11 minutes and 16 seconds to shut down the Middle Eastern squad and remain undefeated in Group C with a spotless 2-0 win-loss card and moved a win away from booking an upper bracket ticket.
Echo was able to draw the win despite still missing its team captain and starting roamer Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, who is currently embroiled in cheating allegations.
But even in the absence of Yawi, Echo was still able to make quick work of Occupy Thrones thanks to Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya (Yu Zhong) who dropped five of their 19 kills alongside six assists and zero deaths.
Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, the M2 Finals MVP, provided the help with a 4/1/6 KDA on Ling.
Echo will look to close out its group stage campaign with a clean record when it takes on RSG Singapore later at 6 p.m.
