Echo sweeps Blacklist, captures M4 World Championship crown

JAKARTA — Echo pulled off the impossible, sweeping defending champion Blacklist International, 4-0, to capture the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship title on Sunday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Echo picked up where it left off with Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera (Lolita) continuing to set up his teammates, but the “San-San” duo of Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya and Alston “Sanji” Pabico proved crucial too for the Orcas.

Sanji, who unleashed a perfect 2/0/8 KDA, was named the MVP of the game with Yve.

Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales (Brody) then went out with his famous backdoor play as Echo secured a commanding 2-0 lead. Prior to that masterful scheme, Echo was able to wipe out Blacklist in the 12th minute but withdrew from the base.

Both games were dominated by Echo in under 15 minutes and both games saw Echo ban Blacklist’s signature hero Estes.

Again in Game Three, Echo opted to ban Estes and it turned out effective anew as Sanford’s masterful use of Lapu-Lapu brought the Orcas to a match point, 3-0, in 13 minutes and 53 seconds.
