OhMyV33nus leads Blacklist to back-to-back wins, earns Player of the Week honors

Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna continues to prove that her healing specialty is one of the reasons why Blacklist International remains a strong contender in MPL Philippines Season 11.

The veteran roamer averaged nine assists and participated in 83.64 percent of Blacklist’s kills as the reigning MPL champions defeated Onic Philippines and RSG Slate Philippines, both in sweep fashion, over the weekend.

With a surprise pick in Floryn and her usual signature hero Estes, OhMyV33nus led Blacklist's Ultimate Bonding Experience (UBE) strategy to cop two consecutive wins and strengthened their chances of bagging two of the upper bracket spots in the playoffs.

Her consistent showing and leadership hailed OhMyV33nus, a three-time MPL champion, the Razer Gold Player of the Week award from March 28 to April 2.

She beat teammate Edward “Edward” Dapadap, Bren Esports’ David “FlapTzy” Canon, and Week 6 winner Ben “Benthings” Maglaque of TNC for the weekly award voted upon by print and online media covering the MPL Philippines, as well as the league’s broadcasters and operations team.

But even with back-to-back victories in their bag, OhMyV33nus stressed the need for improvement as they look to defend their crown in the local scene.

“It’s a 5 out of 10 for me. Para sa akin kasi hindi pa yun yung [best] game ko,” said OhMyV33nus.
