Efren 'Bata' Reyes to see action in Cambodia SEA Games
Efren "Bata" Reyes isn't done representing the country.
The legendary Filipino cue artist will be donning the national colors once again when he competes in the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asian Games next month in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Billiard Sports Confederation of the Philippines president Robert Mananquil confirmed the news to GMA Integrated News on Thursday, while also sharing that Reyes will once again team up with Francisco Dela Cruz in the men's carom event.
Reyes and Dela Cruz captured the bronze medal together last year during the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam, finishing third behind gold medalist Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu and silver medalist Pham Quoc Tuan, who were both from the host country.
Their bronze medal finish helped the Philippines become the winningest country in billiards during the previous biennial meet, collecting four golds, four silver, and two bronze.
