IN PHOTOS | 32nd Cambodia Southeast Asian Games Opening Ceremony

The 32nd Southeast Asian Games formally kicked off with the opening ceremony held on Friday at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Prior to the games, the Philippines selected an all-female delegation of athletes to represent the country and march in the opening parade. Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez was named as the flag bearer for the country.

As of the opening ceremony, the Philippines sat in second place in the medal tally, with two gold, two silver, and three bronze medals. Kaila Napolis (jiu-jitsu) and Angel Derla (kun bokator) delivered the country's first two gold medals in these games.
