Precious Cabuya, Mark Rodelas win gold medals in SEA Games obstacle course racing
The Philippines officially added two more gold medals to its haul in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games with Precious Cabuya and Mark Rodelas winning those from obstacle course racing on Saturday in Cambodia.
Cabuya claimed the country's third gold medal after clocking in at 32.73 seconds, breaking the world record of 33.1278 she set in the qualifying heats.

She finished ahead of compatriot dela Serna, who took home the silver medal with a time of 35.52 seconds. Indonesia's Anggun Yolanda Samsul Haddi settled for third with 39.59 seconds.
In the men's division, Rodelas finished at 25.19 seconds for the gold medal, while fellow Filipino Kevin Pascua had 26.81 seconds to get the silver medal. Malaysia's Yoong Wei Theng claimed bronze with 28.23 seconds.

During the heats, Rodelas also shattered his own previous world record of 26.42 seconds to set a new one at 25.0921 seconds.
The Philippines currently has at least four gold medals, four silver medals, and three bronze medals.
