Aquathlon mixed relay team bags seventh SEAG gold for Team Philippines


The members of the Philippine aquathlon team added another gold medal to the country's haul in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games on Saturday in Cambodia.

The team of Matthew Hermosa, Kira Ellis, Erica Burgos, and Inaki Lorbes won the aquathlon mixed team relay competition to bring home the country's seventh gold medal in the biennial meet.

Earlier, Andrew Remolino claimed a silver medal in the individual aquathlon.

The mixed relay team followed Kaila Napolis and Annie Ramirez (jiu-jitsu), Angel Derla (kun bokator), Mark Rodelas and Precious Cabuya (obstacle course race), and Sakura Alforte (karate) in the list of the Philippines' gold medalist in the Cambodia Games.
