Wise shares what's next for V33Wise duo following MSC 2023 runner-up finish

Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario said he and Johnmar "OhMyV33Nus" Villaluna will think things over following Blacklist International's runner-up finish in the recently-concluded Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023 in Cambodia.

The multi-titled jungler admitted that their continuous competitions leading to the MSC grand finals loss to Indonesia's ONIC Esports have taken a toll on them and said they will ponder on what their next moves will be ahead of the MPL Philippines Season 12 in August.

"Syempre kakatapos lang ng MSC and 'di pa gano'ng ka-finalized kasi mahirap magdesisyon na agad-agad," Wise told GMA Integrated News in an interview.

("Of course, the MSC just finished so things aren't finalized because it's hard to make a decision that quickly.")

The upcoming MPL season will play an important role for the Codebreakers as it serves as a qualifier to the M5 world championship in December, something that Blacklist will focus on especially as they eye to regain the world crown.

In the M4, Blacklist reached the grand finals only to bow to compatriot Echo in four games.

"Pero gusto naming magpahinga muna. Kakatapos lang ng MSC e, parang pahinga muna tsaka na magiisip kung ano 'yung gagawin namin for S12," he added.

("But we want to rest first. The MSC just ended, we want rest and then we'll think about what we'll do for Season 12.")
