Echo, Mobile Legends bag major awards at inaugural Mobile Gaming Awards


Philippine team Echo and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang copped major plums during the first-ever Mobile Gaming Awards 2023 held in Los Angeles, California last weekend.

Reigning M-series world champion and defending MPL Philippines titlist Echo was handed the Mobile Team of the Year award while the Orcas' gold laner and M4 World Championship MVP Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales was named the Mobile Player of the Year.

The M4 tournament was also recognized as the Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year while ML:BB bagged the Competitive Game of the Year honor.

"We are extremely thankful and humbled to have the opportunity to be at the MOBIES and to walk off with not one, but several awards," stated Kelly Chiew, Head of Public Relations, MOONTON Games.

Meanwhile, Genshin Impact took home the Mobile Game of the Year award while Marvel Snap was recognized as the Breakthrough Game of the Year.
