Danny Kingad suffers injury, withdraws from upcoming fight at ONE Fight Night 15
Former world title challenger Danny Kingad has suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw from his upcoming fight on the undercard of ONE Fight Night 15.
Kingad, 15-3 as a professional mixed martial artist, last saw action in February when defeated Eko Roni Saputra via unanimous decision. He was supposed to fight China's Hu Yong on October 7 in Bangkok but had hurt his ankle in training.
"I was looking forward to the opportunity to compete and showcase my skills in the ring. However, my current physical condition leaves me unable to perform at my best and poses a risk to my health and well-being," Kingad said.
Kingad, the No. 2 rated bantamweight in the world by ONE Championship, will be replaced by his last foe Saputra.
