Boxer Nesthy Petecio will attempt to march forward in her bid for an 2024 Paris Olympics medal in the women's 57kg division while swimmer Jarod Hatch will make his Olympic debut for the Philippines on Friday.

Before them, rower Joanie Delgaco will also close her campaign in the women's single sculls as she competes in the Final D of the event, which will determine her finish in the Paris Games.

Petecio, a silver medalist from the Tokyo Olympics three years ago, already has a win under her belt in this year's edition, defeating India's Jaismine in the Round of 32.
