Olympic gymnasts Finnegan, Malabuyo, golfer Ardina recognized by House, Senate

Philippine Olympians continue to receive recognitions days after the recently-concluded 2024 Paris Olympics.

Aside from the two, golfer Dottie Ardina also had a courtesy call in the Senate on Tuesday as she was given a certificate of recognition.

Ardina was also welcomed by Makati City Mayor Abby Binay where she feted the golfer's role in inspiring up and coming golfers.

Aside from the recognitions made by the members of the legislative branch, Olympic boxers were also welcomed warmly in their respective home towns.

Nesthy Petecio was welcomed in Davao, while Carlo Paalam had a courtesy call in Cagayan de Oro City.

Gymnast Aleah Finnegan, meanwhile, is expected to arrive in the Philippines soon.
