ONIC Philippines chooses Joy for M6 champion skin, Beatrix for Finals MVP skin

ONIC Philippines chose Joy as the hero for its M6 champion skin.

The development was announced by Moonton Games on Friday.

 "Joy herself almost represents ONIC Philippines by her skills and color. Joy is one of K1ngkong's signature heroes and as I remember, when ONIC Philippines picked Joy, the crowd went crazy," Paul Denver "Coach Yeb" Miranda said.

According to Moonton, Joy was chosen to celebrate the performance of jungler Cyric "K1ngkong" Perez during ONIC's M6 run.

"Her story is a reflection of our own journey: a relentless pursuit of greatness, filled with challenges and determination. After years of growth and progress, we finally reached the pinnacle of success together," Coach Yeb added.

Meanwhile, gold laner Grant "Kelra" Pillas chose Beatrix for the Finals MVP skin.

Kelra, also known as the "Gold Standard," is known for his masterful use of the marksman hero which he utilized during the crucial Game 4 of the best-of-seven grand finals against Team Liquid Indonesia in the finals.

"I feel happy and honored to co-design Beatrix. The FMVP skin that I will work on will help signify my legacy in MLBB Esports. I chose her because as a gold laner, I embody some of her attributes, like her ability to adapt and be precise when shooting the enemies," said Kelra.

Indonesia's EVOS Legends chose to provide Harith with an M Champion skin, while the Philippines' Bren Esports picked Lancelot for M2. Blacklist International designed Estes for M3, while ECHO co-designed an M4 champion skin for Chou. AP Bren, meanwhile, chose Brody for its champion skin, and Pacquito for its first-ever Finals MVP skin.
