Around 10,000 runners join the fun in first Pokemon Run in PH


2025 Pokemon Run in the Philippines

Around 10,000 runners joined the fun in the first ever Pokemon Run held at the Mall of Asia grounds last Sunday, with some participants dressing up as their favorite trainers or pocket monsters.

Christopger Iblan ruled the men's 10K race with 37 minutes and nine seconds, followed by Carlos Go (41:37) and Arel Montano (42:48). Maricar Camacho, meanwhile, was the fastest among the females with 41 minutes and 48 seconds, followed by Jocelyn Elijeran (43:49) and Angela Nabel Velasco (51:08).

In the 5K category, Louie Agawa was the fastest male with 16 minutes and 46 seconds, followed by Sherwin Cuenza (16:58) and Mark Angelo Biagtan (17:10). Jennine Sze topped the women's race with 22 minutes and 15 seconds, with Pauline Abril-Tabirara (24:03) and Maricris Abueg (25:40) completing the top three.

Cavin Vidal had the best time in the 3K category for the men with nine minutes and 50 seconds, followed by Kim Wilson Alison (12:22) and Ganimid Avarez Jr. (13:06).

Rhazanica Sarah Bautista had the best time among the women of the 3k race with 16 minutes and 30 seconds, followed by Mary Grace Dela Torre-Mondragon (16:40) and Paula Rickyvil (17:50).

For males of the 1K race, Joseph Fontamillas led with three minutes and 40 seconds for the males, while John Archel Arroyo (5:00) and Gio Ranario (5:20) followed suit.

Ai Kaneko clocked six minutes and 20 seconds for the women to get the better of Jhoenet Marquez (6:48) and Mari Samantha Bersaldo (7:10).
