Jeremy Pacatiw faces dangerous Baatarkhuu at ONE Fight Night 29
Hard-hitting bantamweight Jeremy Pacatiw of Lions Nation MMA has a new opponent and he is a rather dangerous one.
After getting his bout with Ibragim Dauev canceled as the Russian failed to make weight earlier this month, Pacatiw is given a quick turnaround against Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu at ONE Fight Night 29 on March 8 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
"Everything happens in God’s perfect timing. My last fight didn’t push through but I kept my focus and stayed ready," said Pacatiw.
"Now I’m grateful for this new opportunity to compete in March against a tough Mongolian opponent. I’ll make the most of it and give my best in the circle."
Baatarkhuu and Pacatiw are world-rated at no.4 and no.5 of ONE Championship's bantamweight division respectively.
Baatarkhuu, 36, is a familiar name amongst Filipino mixed martial arts fans, as he previously defeated Team Lakay fighters Adonis Sevilleno, Jhanlo Sangiao, and Carlo Bumina-ang. He also holds a win over journeyman Rockie Bactol, making his record 4-0 against Filipino MMA fighters.
The winner of this upcoming bout will move a step closer to a shot at the ONE bantamweight world title currently held by Fabricio Andrade.
