Kim Mangrobang rules Women's 10K in Earth Day Run


Six-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Kim Mangrobang ruled the women's division 10K race of the Earth Day Run held last Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia complex.

Mangrobang clocked in 39 minutes and 56 seconds to finish first in the said race, while Melissa Campos finished second with 42 minutes and 44 seconds. Aika de Rivera placed third with a time of 45 minutes and 24 seconds.

In the men's division of the Galaxy Earth Day Run, Karl Oxales finished the course first in 34 minutes and 33 seconds, followed by Mark John Castro (35:50) and Pierre Edouard Alphonse Algret (42:46).

Edsel Moral and Maricar Camacho once again finished on top of the 21K races, with Moral clocking 1:11:07 in the men's division and Camacho having the best record for the females with 1:31:52.

Mark Angelo Biagtan topped the men's division of the 5K race with 17:03, followed by Cavin Vidal (17:40) and Handreikyle David (20:00), while Franxine Louisse Regalado (26:47) recorded the best time among the women followed by Yzel Candelaria (27:58) and Joanalisa Diones (28:01).

Around 17,000 runners joined the said event which was also participated by celebrities like Catriona Gray.
