How much will Alex Eala earn from Wimbledon stint?

Alex Eala made her Wimbledon debut last July 1 as she faced last year's champion Barbora Krejcikova in the first round. 

After falling short against the Czech player in the singles competition, Eala also competed in the doubles tournament with Germany's Eva Lys days after. However, Eala and Lys also made a first round exit.

While the experience and memories which Eala got in her debut in the prestigious Grand Slam tournament will be most valuable, the Filipino tennis ace will also receive some prize money from her stint.

According to Wimbledon.com, for her singles stint, Eala is expected to get GBP66,000 or more than five million pesos for her first round appearance. The winner of the Wimbledon in both men's and women's division will get GBP3 million.

In the doubles tourney, the pair is expected to receive a combined GBP16,500 for their first round stint, with the winner getting GBP680,000.

?According to the WTA, Eala currently has earned a total of $591,592 in prize money.
