What's next for Alex Eala after her first WTA 125 title?

Alex Eala may have won her first WTA 125 title on Sunday, but her season isn’t over yet.

Eala is set to head to Sao Paulo, Brazil for the SP Open, which will take place from September 8 to 14.

The Filipina tennis ace is seeded no. 3 in the tournament and will face a qualifier in the Round of 32.

The SP Open will also feature familiar faces for Eala, including Panna Udvardy, her finals opponent at the Guadalajara 125 Open, and Arianne Hartono of the Netherlands.

Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia and Argentina’s Solana Sierra are the tournament’s top two seeds.

The SP Open is a WTA 250 event and part of the official WTA Tour.
