Alexandra "Alex" Eala is set to face Lulu Sun of New Zealand in the Jingshan Tennis Open semifinals on Saturday afternoon in China.

Eala is aiming for her third finals appearance of the season, going up against a familiar rival in Sun.

The two last met during the Wimbledon qualifiers in 2024, where Sun edged out Eala in straight sets, 7-6, 7-5.
