MLBB: Aurora Gaming bounces back, beats CFU Gaming for M7 breakthrough

Aurora Gaming drew inspiration from its opening-day loss, escaping a gutsy CFU Gaming side with a 1-0 win in the M7 World Championship Swiss Stages on Sunday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Aurora Gaming, which fell to compatriot Team Liquid during the opener on Saturday, broke through in the tournament and improved with a 1-1 card.

That loss served as a fuel for Aurora in their next game against the Cambodian bets with midlaner Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo leading an early 5-1 kill lead just before the five-minute mark on his Lunox.

CFU Gaming, however, quickly regained its footing to tie things up at 5-all before securing a free Lord as three Aurora heroes got picked off during a clash.

Aurora's defense then held on at the top lane as jungler Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto ( Yi Sun-shin) unleashed a triple kill that completely flipped the switch for the Philippine representatives.

Aurora claimed the third Lord at the 20-minute mark, paving the way for the finishing push as Jan “Domeng” Delmundo (Claude) unloaded Blazing Duet to secure a double kill and put CFU Gaming away.

Aurora's veteran exp laner Edward "Edward" Dapadap emerged as the MVP with four kills and 13 assists on his signature pick Lapu-Lapu.
