Alex Eala’s 2026 results before Indian Wells and Miami Open

Alexandra "Alex" Eala will begin her Sunshine Swing campaign soon, with her Indian Wells Open campaign set to open by Friday.

The Sunshine Swing features a series of North American tournaments, including the Merida Open (WTA 500) in Mexico and the ATX Open (WTA 250) in Austin, Texas.

Eala, meanwhile, will compete in the marquee WTA 1000 events — the Indian Wells Open from March 4 to 15 and the Miami Open from March 17 to 29.

Indian Wells is widely regarded as the “fifth Grand Slam,” as it is one of the most prestigious ATP and WTA tournaments outside of the four major championships.

Middle East Swing

Dubai Tennis Championships (WTA 1000) — Quarterfinals; lost to Coco Gauff, 0-6, 2-6

Qatar Open (WTA 1000) — Round of 64; lost to Tereza Valentová, 6(6)-7, 1-6

Abu Dhabi Open (WTA 500) — Quarterfinals; lost to Ekaterina Alexandrova, 3-6, 3-6
