Alex Eala at the Madrid Open: Schedule and draw

Alexandra “Alex” Eala will compete in her third clay-court tournament of the year as she begins her campaign at the Madrid Open.

The Madrid Open, a WTA 1000 event, is scheduled to run until May 3.

Last year, Eala reached the Round of 64 before falling to Iga Swiatek, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

This year, the world No. 44 will compete in both the singles and doubles events. She will team up with Zeynep Sonmez of Turkiye in doubles.
