Reigning champ Dae Yeong Joo tops Tour of Luzon Stage 11

Reigning champion and South Korean cyclist Dae Yeong Joo of Gapyeong Cycling Team dominated Stage 11 of the Tour of Luzon on Sunday.

The stage covered 158.7 kilometers from Candon City to San Juan, La Union.

Joo clocked three hours, 19 minutes, and 16 seconds to secure the stage victory, followed by Malaysia’s Saniy Syahmi Mohd Safiee of the National Team of Malaysia and Filipino rider Dominic Perez of the Pangasinan Cycling Team.

Meanwhile, Nikita Shulchenko remained atop the individual general classification with an overall time of 32:57:30, with Yousef Ibrahiem Alrefai and Antoine Huby trailing behind.

The next stage of the tour will cover 146.4 kilometers and will be held from Agoo, La Union to Mangatarem, Daang Kalikasan in Pangasinan.
