Shulchenko dominates Tour of Luzon to claim title, Huby rules final stage

Nikita Shulchenko of LCW UAECycling ruled the Tour of Luzon after posting a total time of 41:11:10 in the 14-stage tournament, which concluded Wednesday in Baguio City.

Antoine Huby of 7Eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines, who won the final stage, clocked 4:26:42 in the 177.8-kilometer route from Lingayen to Baguio City. Shulchenko finished second in the stage, trailing the French cyclist by 2:12.

Huby also placed second in the overall individual general classification, finishing 1:34 behind Shulchenko, while Yousef Ibrahiem Alrefai of LCW finished third overall, 6:45 off the lead.

Nash Joshua Lim of MPT Driving Hub was the top Filipino rider in the overall standings after finishing fourth, followed by Ronnilan Quitan of 7Eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines.
