AGUSAN DEL SUR—Two swimming records fell at the 2026 Palarong Pambansa after Charles Boneo and Riannah Coleman delivered record-breaking performances on Tuesday at the Aquatic Center of the Datu Lipus Makapandong Gov. D.O. Sports Complex.

Boneo, a product of Region IV-A CALABARZON, clinched the gold medal in the elementary boys 400m freestyle with a time of 4:30.63, smashing the previous record of 4:31.39 set by Titus Sia last year in Ilocos Norte.

Peter Greyson Limbing of host CARAGA region claimed the silver with 4:34.46 finish while another CALABARZON bet Jacob Blanco clinched the bronze with 4:35.78 output.

In the secondary girls 100m breaststroke, Coleman shattered her own record by clocking 1:12.99 seconds. Her previous mark was 1:15.46 she made last year.

Home bet Brave Erno also made a huge feat after the rising swimmer claimed the gold in the secondary girls 400m freestyle to deliver another gold to CARAGA region.

Erno, who clinched a historic gold in last year's elementary girls' 400m freestyle event, clocked 4:38.38 this time to make a splashing debut in the high school ranks.

Surprisingly, Sophia Garra, who had a whopping seven-gold medal haul in the 2025 Palarong Pambansa edition, only finished fourth after clocking 4:52.82.
