Alex Eala, Victoria Mboko withdraw from 2026 French Open doubles

Alexandra “Alex” Eala and Victoria Mboko have withdrawn from the 2026 French Open doubles tournament, with the updated draw released on Wednesday reflecting the change.

In the updated draw, Eala and Mboko’s names were no longer listed, with Leylah Fernandez and Diana Shnaider instead facing Oksana Selekhmeteva and Anastasia Zakharova.

Eala earlier exited the singles competition after a 6-4, 6-2 loss to Iva Jovic.

Meanwhile, Mboko is still set to continue her singles campaign and will face Katerina Siniakova in the second round on Thursday.

There is no published reason yet for the withdrawal.
