Alexandra “Alex” Eala begins her grass-court campaign this week as she competes at the WTA 125 Birmingham Open.

On Monday, Eala will see action in the doubles competition, partnering with Czech player Nikola Bartunkova against the British duo of Harriet Dart and Maia Lumsden.

In singles, Eala enters the tournament as the top seed and will take on Australia's Priscilla Hon in the opening round.
