The 21-year-old Eala is listed for the WTA500 Mubadala DC Open, where she is expected to join a star-studded field led by defending champion Leylah Fernandez, Iva Jovic, Madison Keys, Marta Kostyuk, Naomi Osaka, and her most recent opponent Jasmine Paolini.
Paolini previously dealt the Philippine star a 4-6, 6-4, 3-6 loss in their Wimbledon Round of 16 clash.
The Mubadala Open, set for July 27 to August 2 in Washington, is just one of several hard-court events on the WTA calendar leading up to the US Open, which runs from August 30 to September 13.
The prestigious Canadian Open, also known as the National Bank Open, is also set for August 2 in Toronto. Eala competed in this tournament last year, losing in the Round of 128 to Marketa Vondrousova with a 6-3, 1-6, 2-6 loss before she saw action in the 2025 US Open.
Eala is tipped to carry the momentum she gained from the grass courts onto the hard surface.
The 21-year-old star is coming off a historic Wimbledon run, where she became the first-ever Filipino to reach the fourth-round of any Grand Slam event after making the Round of 16.
