La Salle bounces back, shuts out FEU

The DLSU Lady Spikers bounced back from a shocking four-set loss to the Ateneo Lady Eagles by pouncing on the FEU Lady Tamaraws, 25-5, 25-23, 25-23, on Wednesday.

Desiree Cheng and Aduke Ogunsanya paced La Salle with 11 markers each, while Tin Tiamzon tallied 10 markers.

Cheng and Tiamzon combined for 20 of La Salle's 34 attack points.

Ogunsanya, meanwhile, led the team in service aces and blocks with five and two, respectively.

No FEU player scored in double figures, with Remy Palma pacing her squad with nine markers. Bernadeth Pons and Toni Rose Basas, meanwhile, combined for 15.

With the win, the Lady Spikers reclaimed the top spot in the standings at 6-2, while Ateneo and NU locked down second and third place, respectively. — BAP, GMA News
