UP rookie Louis Gamban on his swag: 'Charot charot lang po 'yon'

University of the Philippines rookie Louis Gamban on Wednesday made quite the statement in his debut in the UAAP Season 82 men's volleyball tournament.
Gamban scored 10 points in the Fighting Maroons' upset against Ateneo de Manila University, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

But aside from UP's feat, Gamban became popular on social media for his swag on the taraflex.
However, Gamban said those shows of emotions was all part of the game plan.
"Charot charot lang po 'yon, nag-sorry ako sa Ateneo. Kasama po 'yon, nasa plano po namin 'yon namin nila coach," he said.
"Sa training po kasi kung ano 'yong tini-training namin, masaya kami sa training, masaya kami nagpunta dito parang normal day lang," Gamban added.
Gamban has been known for being the key player for the University of Perpetual Help in the NCAA juniors' division.
After his stellar career in the NCAA, Gamban said playing in the UAAP has always been his dream.
Coming from a champion team in the NCAA, Gamban hopes to help the Fighting Maroons improve from their eight place finish last season.
"Gusto ko lang talaga makatulong sa mga graduating na kuya para i-push pa at higitan pa kung ano 'yong mayroon ako," he said.
UP will try to extend their winning streak against the University of the East on Saturday. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/MGP, GMA News
