Setter Alina Bicar joins Petro Gazz Angels ahead of new PVL season

The Petro Gazz Angels have made their move in preparation for the next Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season next year after it inked a deal with setter Alina Bicar on Wednesday.

The club welcomed the former University of Santo Tomas playmaker through its official Facebook account.

Bicar was the starting setter for BaliPure during the previous season where the team finished with a 3-6 win-loss card. She was also pivotal in some of the team's huge wins, including their upset victory over eventual champion Chery Tiggo.

In Petro Gazz, Bicar will work alongside veteran setters Chie Saet and Ivy Perez.

Angels finished with bronze in the previous season behind the performances of top spikers Grethcel Soltones, Ces Molina, Riri Meneses, and Myla Pablo.

Bicar was also the latest player to part ways with BaliPure after it lost Graze Bombita to Cignal HD late last month.
